Last week Kate completed the arduous Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu, the famous 15^th Century Incan heritage site located at 7,970 feet above sea level in Peru’s Cusco region.

“It was a huge struggle and I really do not recommend it to anyone over the great 70. But I’m so happy with my achievements. I would do it again,” she related in an email home.
