June in the East Kootenay
There was sun and rain in neat measures followed by ever-drier heat. Good for the gardens and lawns, at first.
As June led to July in the East Kootenay, the threat of wildfire grew to reality; the inevitable; the feared. Please be wise out there folks; there’s no need for open fires.
June was a gorgeous month, overall, in the East Kootenay. Lots of lovely, sunny days and warm, long-shadow evenings; a reminder why we chose to live in this Rocky Mountain paradise.
This month’s collection of images are from: Cranbrook and area; Canal Flats; Elk Valley and Kimberley and area.
