You couldn’t ask for a finer late summer day for this year’s Kootenay Country Fair at Fort Steele Heritage Town.

Held Sunday, Sept. 13, the annual harvest festival was alive with fresh produce, crafts, food and many other vendors.

It was front-field parking only at one point as hundreds of people flocked to the beautiful heritage town near Cranbrook to take in the fair and the sights.
