People flocking to valley from around the country
By Larry Halverson
People from around the country are flocking to the Columbia Valley to participate in Wings Over the Rockies Bird Festival and enjoy nature.
The wide floodplain of the Columbia River comprises some of the most extensive wetland habitats in North America and along with riparian woodlands, grasslands, farmlands, mixed and coniferous forests makes the valley one of B.C.’s primo birding locations and destination.
Watch a short video Birding in the Columbia Valley .
The festival runs until May 12.
