Tourists and locals will have opportunities to ride from downtown to the top of Kimberley Alpine Resort on July 18.

The Platzl to Peak Tours begin at 10 a.m. and run hourly to 3 p.m., starting at the Kimberley Underground Railway station. Riders make their way up hill to Kimberley Alpine Resort by rail and then transfer to the chair lift and ride to the top of the mountain.

Tickets prices are: adult – $20; child – $10; family (maximum two adults and dependent children under 18 yrs) – $50.

Children must be at least four-years-old to ride the chair.

Train ride only cost: adult — $15; children – $10; Children under three-years old – free; family – (maximum two adults and dependent children under 18 yrs) – $30.
