The 24-hour feed

Twenty-four hours isn’t a lot of time. You know the drill: get some sleep, grab a bite, work eight hours, squeeze in lunch and dinner, walk the dog and go for a bike ride or watch TV if there’s any time left. But for this cougar with a freshly killed elk near the town of Banff, life is more focused. And when the 24-hour feed is over, a few of Banff National Park’s scavengers waste little time moving in.
