Hawks are all over this area.These shots were taken on the highway about 15 minutes outside of Kimberley. I spotted this dude atop a power pole. I got out of the vehicle, took some shots, and he flew to the next pole. We drove to the next pole. Again I got out, took some pictures, then he flew to the next pole. We did the routine for about five consecutive poles, probably 10 plus poles in all.Too bad it was such a crappy day, all overcast, no light. But we kept snapping. Took over 300 shots, we got at least a couple dozen good ones.
