Pure sensationalism
Letter to the Editor
By purchasing the book ‘Raising Kain’ I was imagining an innocently fictional story. What I read was pure sensationalism. The writer rewrote more than just Conrad’s history. Conrad came here in 1909, 26 years before Nazism reared its ugly head.
I’m looking forward to someone who will write more about Conrad Kain, the mountain guide who the Alpine Club of Canada clients raised onto their shoulders after an epic ascent above Lake O’Hara.
