Seizing the light
I saw this osprey in a tree as the sun went down. The sky behind it was amazing! To shoot good sunset pictures, get out of the city; Jim Smith and Norbury Lakes are two of my favourite places to shoot. If you’re walking, try Elizabeth or Idlewild lakes. Also the trees along the creek at the Tamarack Mall make an awesome foreground, if you can find a place with no poles or wires showing. Also slap a polarizing filter on your lens – what a difference! This picture can be purchased at Trickle Creek Gift and Gallery in Kimberley.
