Iconic Canadian rock comes to WFP

Cranbrook’s Western Financial Place came alive with the sounds of iconic Canadian airplay rock n roll Feb. 28.

Nick Gilder and Sweeney Todd served as the opening act and Loverboy, featuring Invermere-raised Paul Dean on lead guitar (lead image), brought the evening home, delighting fans from the era to youngsters with 1980s classics.

And what would a Loverboy show be without a few bras being tossed at the band? The first one to fly on stage actually hit singer Mike Reno in the head!
