This past week the team at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital Renal Dialysis Unit welcomed the addition of a new wheelchair scale compliments of the East Kootenay Foundation for Health (EKFH).

The patient simply walks, or is wheeled, onto the weight platform and is weighed. The foundation provided $4,000 in funding thanks to generous donations received from EKFH’s annual Starlite Campaign.
