Statements that are concerning to Canadians

Our Conservative Government has committed to our promises that we made in 2011. We promised that we would get rid of the Gun Registry and we did.
We introduced Bill C42, which will continue to modernize our gun laws and more will be done.
We promised we would introduce income splitting and we did. However, we went further. We increased the amount families will get through the Universal Child Care Benefit. This is money in the pockets of more than four million families across Canada.
In comparison, the NDP has said that they will introduce a National Daycare program, which will only be available to those who work 9 to 5. In order to create this program they will eliminate income splitting and the direct payments provided to hard working Canadian families.
Furthermore, the Liberals have been very clear that they will not only eliminate income splitting for parents but they will eliminate income splitting for seniors as well.
The NDP have said they will reintroduce the gun registry. The Liberals have said that they will not revive the gun registry, but make no mistake, they will make it more difficult for Canadians who own firearms to possess them.
This is why recent statements from both the NDP and Liberals should be very concerning to Canadians.
