Wasa-based photograph and rambler of the region Krista Nebloch is so prodigious in image production that she will be featured once a month in e-KNOW.KNKAR2

Here are some photos from my travels this past month with my faithful pup Luigi in tow. Kimberley, Wasa, Invermere and Canal Flats are featured this time.

KNKAR3April saw longer days; I love it! I was a bit transfixed with the skies this month.

KNKARstaffdayThe wintery pics were taken on Kimberley’s Easter Chair on Monday April 8, Kimberley Alpine Resort Staff ski day.

KNlonechairSome of the staff dressed up and Burdawg dressed retro resplendent in gold lamé short shorts. A lot of people wished they were staff that day as it snowed from the time the hill closed to the public on Sunday until noon the next day leaving just under a foot of fresh powder to play in! It was a winter wonderland.  Sooo very, very good!

KN WasashoreWe definitely have four very distinct seasons here!

KNWasaOne day later I got to the beach and captured water shots wading in my rain boots at Wasa Lake.

The crocus is in my yard as is the purple flower I do not know the name of yet.

KNazaleaThe pink azalea was a rescue and it got its first flowers!  I love spring!KNazalea2

Also included in this collection of images from April 2013 are: A budding tree at James Chabot Provincial Park in Invermere; the Columbia Lake rest stop/ viewpoint was breathtaking that morning; And the many skies of Wasa, Kimberley and Invermere.

Catch and release digital photography is… so different from film and developing solutions or photo huts, though that was fun too! But expensive… especially if you are/were experimental.
