Hunt on for missing Calgary murder suspect
The Calgary Police Service (CPS) is asking for the public’s help to locate a man who is wanted on warrants for violating a court order related to a first degree murder charge.
Nathan Paul Gervais, 21, of Calgary, was placed under 24-hour house arrest while awaiting his trial after being charged with first-degree murder in connection with an incident in 2013. When police checked his residence the morning of Saturday, April 16, he was not home and investigators have been unable to locate him, outlined the Alberta Police Report April 21.
Canada-wide warrants have now been issued for his arrest and anyone who has had contact with Gervais in the past week is asked to contact police.
Gervais is described as Caucasian, 5’8” tall, with a medium build, brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Gervais’ whereabouts is asked to call the Calgary Police Service non-emergency line at 403-266-1234, or the Homicide Unit Tip Line at 403-428-8877.
