A 35-year-old woman died as a result of an ATV crash on Sunday, June 26.

The crash took place on a deactivated Forest Service Road, near Lost Dog FSR, northeast of Kimberley.

The female was operating the machine when it flipped over; she was wearing a helmet. BC Ambulance attended by helicopter but paramedics were unable to revive her.

Kimberley RCMP will be assisting the BC Coroner’s Service with the investigation.
