1. In 2014, the government launched Accessibility 2024 action plan to make our province more accessible to the over half-a-million British Columbians who live with disabilities.
2. Highlights of the plan’s recent two-year progress report include larger ballots to improve the experience of sight-impaired voters, and significant investments in the Employment Program of BC to help those with disabilities overcome barriers to employment.
3. The report and a list of the expanded services can be found at www.gov.bc.ca/accessibility, which is available in accessible formats, including Braille and American Sign Language (ASL).
