1. There are 116 Recreation Sites in the Rocky Mountain District, which provide a simple, rustic camping experience. Camping at recreation sites in the Rocky Mountain District are not on a reservation system therefore the sites are first come – first served.

2. There are two basic types of recreation sites available; sites with fees and sites without. Fees range from $10 to $15 per night for a person, family or party of six. Reduced fees, of 50% off, are available for seniors and for qualifying persons with disabilities.
