Catherine Charlotte Broten (nee Zimmer) passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of July 31, 2016, surrounded by her loving husband and four sons.
Cathy is survived by her husband Kurt and their children: Jesse (Becky) with grandson Buck, Jacob, Jared, and Morgan (Marci), her siblings: Dorothy (Dwight), Irene (Tom), Joan (Gene), Bernie (Margot), John (Linda), Terri (Les), Jim (Michelle), and Jeff (Karma) as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Joe and Louise Zimmer.
Cathy was a loving, adventurous, generous woman who was devoted to her family and faith. Her absence will be greatly missed by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She will forever watch over us as we watch over and support each other; for if there was ever an angel headed straight to heaven …. It is her.
