School year set to begin
The 2016/2017 school year gets underway tomorrow in the two school districts in the East Kootenay.
School District No. 5 (SD5), also known as Southeast Kootenay School District welcomes back students to its 19 facilities and School District No. 6 (SD6), the Rocky Mountain School District welcomes kids back to its 15 schools Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Motorists: please watch for children walking to and from school once again.
