1. B.C. has been fighting for a world-leading spill response and prevention system since we set out our five conditions to pipeline approval in 2012.

2. The federal government this past week committed to building a world leading marine safety system to protect B.C.’s coast and address the 11 gaps we identified.

3. Transporting Canadian oil to Asian markets is essential to all of Canada. And protecting our coast is just as important.
