East Kootenay B.C Conservation Officer Service (BCCOS) officers assisted biologists with the capture of this grizzly bear, the BCCOS reported on Facebook this afternoon.

“A GPS tracking collar was affixed to the bear. The grizzly was released without incident. Bears are still active in many areas of B.C. Please secure attractants to prevent conflicts with wildlife,” BCCOS explained.
