Cranbrook RCMP Report
The following is a synopsis of calls received by Cranbrook RCMP for the week (from 6 a.m.) Jan. 16. to 6 a.m., Jan. 23.
Police handled 110 calls for service throughout this week.
Among the calls police handled…
One impaired driver – alcohol.
Seven collisions: two in town, five outside of town…no major injuries, mostly property damage.
Two hit and runs – both events where parked vehicles were struck by another vehicle.
Three Mental Health Act calls – one apprehended.
Three assault complaints: two domestic in nature / one assault occurred between roommates.
One break and enter to residences: items missing such as food and clothing.
One report of property damage: broken vehicle window.
One drug seizure – marijuana.
15 false alarms/ false 911 complaints.
