Evelyn Doreen Bossio of Jaffray, B.C. passed away at the Elk Valley Hospital on Thursday April 27, 2017 at the age of 73.

Evelyn was born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan November 28, 1943. Her family moved to the Jaffray area a short time later.

Evelyn was raised in the South Country where she spent her entire career teaching at the Jaffray School. She was loving and caring and always put others first.

Evelyn is survived by her son Kirk Bossio, daughter -in- law Cindy and their daughter Malia. Also by her daughter Shelley, her son- in- law Chris and their daughter Taylor. She was predeceased by her husband Melvin, her father Ole Olsen, mother Alice Olsen and her sister Sandra Weisbeck.

Funeral services were celebrated on May 2nd at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Jaffray B.C. Evelyn was laid to rest at the St. Margaret’s Cemetery in Fernie B.C.
