Obituary for Helen Ordway

Helen passed away at the Kimberley Special Care home at the age of 87. She found peace on July 9, 2012 in the arms of her family.

Helen was predeceased by her loving husband Harry, her parents Andy and Marie Chisholm and five of her seven sisters. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her son Gerry (Betty) Ordway, her daughter Elva (Dennis) Keiver and her grandchildren Sarah (Curtis) Burton, Rob (Kim) Ordway, Jeff (Anna) Keiver and Pamela (Adrian) Taggart and her nine great grandchildren – Braede, Payton, Taeryn, Nixon, Linden, Lucas, Georges, Kye, and Maddox.

Helen was devoted to her family and was happiest when the family came to visit. She had many happy memories of her many friends, golfing, curling, playing bridge and when participating in the summer and winter senior games. Helen dearly loved Harry, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The love she has given us will always be in our hearts and she will be greatly missed by those who loved her. The family would like to thank all of those that made her stay at Garden View and the Pines truly feel like her home. Helen was very grateful for your caring friendship and love.
