With heavy hearts and sadness, Babette’s family announces her passing at the Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie on Saturday August 26, 2017 at the age of 86 years.

Beloved wife of the late Norman N. Gaudreau (June 3, 2012), Babette is survived by her three children: Philippe Gaudreau (Louise Beaumier), Michel (Louise) Gaudreau, and Jeanne (Jeannot) Kraps (late Heinz Kraps), her 2 grandchildren: Natalie (Ian) Clarke and Chantale Johnson and 5 great grandchildren.

Babette was predeceased by her parents Euclide Mathé and Jeanne (Pellissier) Mathé, her brother Roland, and sisters Jeanne D’arc and Juliette.
