Allan Brian TESSMAN

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Allan Brian Tessman who passed away peacefully at the Elk Valley Hospital on October 18th following a hard-fought battle with cancer.

He was born in Radway, AB on January 28, 1958 to parents Harold and Edna. Allan was a kind, considerate man, and a hopeless romantic. He had a heart of gold and appreciated life’s simple pleasures; the beauty of the mountains, sitting around a campfire, playing darts with friends, watching his favorite hockey team, the Montreal Canadiens, fishing along the riverbanks, enjoying a cold beer with family and friends, and long drives with Joan by his side. He was a hardworking man, employed with Teck for over 30 years before retiring due to declining health.

Allan will be greatly missed and forever loved. Allan is survived by his fiancé Joan Gorman, her daughters and their significant others, his grandson Cash, and his brothers and sisters. Donations may be made in Allan’s memory to the S.P.C.A.
