Penny Alice CONNERS

With her daughters at her bedside, Penny’s journey with cancer ended on Saturday, October 20th at 10:30 AM. Penny was born in Lethbridge, AB on October 31, 1952.

Penny is survived by her boyfriend Floyd Melchair; her children: Cathy Conners, Cherry (Nathan) Bridge, Cindy (Bob) Larson, and Brad (Siobhan) McDowell; grandchildren: Emily, Caitlyn, Keiran, Erik, Trip, Tayla, Dax, Brooke, and Carter; siblings Jackie Clay and David (Cindy) Aubert, and nieces Debbie Clay and Joanne (Darren) Ferguson as well as many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Dorothy and Louis Aubert and her niece Deedra Clay.

Penny will be missed by many close friends that she shared special memories with. Her favorite pastime was sitting around her kitchen table enjoying tea, playing cards, and sharing laughter with loved ones.

Penny will be best remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, welcoming arms, and her sense of humour. She was and will continue to be an inspiration to everyone around her for her ability to remain positive with everything that she’s gone through.
