Booked! Fernie Writers’ Series
Featuring David Butler Thursday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.
Biologist, forester and award-winning writer David Butler launches his second Jenny Willson mystery ‘No Place for Wolverines’ at the Fall Booked! event. Expect live music, cash bar and a night out to hear readings by the author. Donations welcomed.Hope to see you at the library!

Children’s Activities for Grades 1-6
Tuesdays 3:45-4:45 p.m. Builders Club (ages 7+) Nov. 6-27.
Have you got a young architect in your home? This club is for builders of all sorts! We will be using Lego, Keva blocks and K’nex to build something new every week MUST REGISTER ON EVENTBRITE TO ATTEND (see “November Builder’s Club”) Registration opened on November 1.
Wednesdays 3:45-4:45 p.m. Lego Town (ages 7+) Nov 7-28.
We are building a Lego town complete with all our favourite parks, places, shops and amenities. MUST REGISTER ON EVENTBRITE TO ATTEND (see “November Lego Town”) Registration opened on November 1.
Thursdays 3:45-4:45 p.m. “Crafternoon” (ages 10+)
Do you have a maker in your house: someone who loves to make things with fabric, glue guns, yarn and wood? Join us for an hour of crafts to make and take home. Simple snack provided.
FUN FRIDAY
Friday, Nov. 9 , 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Harry Potter: The Philosopher’s Stone – Bring a friend or sibling for popcorn and a movie. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.

Are you a writer looking for inspiration and a chance to connect with others? Join our monthly gathering of those who keen to write, share and learn. Facilitated by local writers, poets, songwriters, bloggers, editors and journalers. All writers welcome! A safe place to read and/or share aloud what you have written and listen to the creative words of others.
Tea and Talk Book Club
