Aquatic Centre to close for repairs starting Thursday
Repair work required at the Aquatic Centre in Western Financial Place is scheduled to begin on Thursday.
The facility will be closed to the public from Thursday, February 21 through to Sunday, February 24. All swimming lessons and fitness classes scheduled Thursday, Friday and Saturday are cancelled.
Staff will be repairing the water line to the hot tub. For the safety of our staff making the repairs, the leisure pool will also be drained. Once the repairs are completed, both the hot tub and leisure pool will be refilled and reheated.
The lane pool and the hot tub are to reopen at 6:30 a.m. on Monday February 25, but the leisure pool is not expected to be available for public use until Tuesday, February 26.
