BC Hydro helps South Country firefighters
The South Country fire departments have purchased some new equipment, ready for wildfire season, thanks to a $4,000 community grant received from BC Hydro in 2018.
A portable pump and tank skid pack, mounted in a pick-up, can quickly access hard to reach fires and extinguish them before they can threaten interface areas.
