A number of years ago Cranbrook Professional Fire Fighters Local 1253 President Clayton Murrell spearheaded an initiative to provide a scholarship for children of our members at graduation.

In addition, if no member’s children were graduating we would still award this scholarship to a deserving student.

So this year our scholarship was proudly awarded to Rebecca Botterill.

Our Local wishes Rebecca the best in her future studies and endeavours.
