BC Hydro has scheduled the following planned outages to Sparwood: October 7 from  midnight to 4 a.m.; October 8 from midnight to 4 a.m.; and November 5 from midnight to 4 a.m.

Areas affected include all customers in the District of Sparwood; Highway 43 north to Bursato Road including Lower Elk Valley Road; Highway 3 east to Michel Creek Road and west to Douglas Fir Road.

BC Hydro will be notifying all affected customers directly by postcard, email and auto-dialer, depending on the contact information provided for the customer’s account.
