Local KIJHL clubs in action tonight
All three local Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) clubs are in action this evening (Nov. 19).
The Kimberley Dynamiters host the Castlegar Rebels at 7 p.m. at the Kimberley Civic Centre.
The Columbia Valley Rockies, sitting atop the KIJHL and Eddie Mountain Division standings with a 10-3-2-1 record, host the winless Grand Forks Border Bruins (0-13) at 7:30 p.m. at the Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena.
And the stingy Fernie Ghostriders (8-5-0-1) head to Golden this evening to take on the last place Rockets. Game time at the Golden Arena is 7 p.m.
On Saturday, Nov. 20, Kimberley (8-4-0-2) hosts the Rockies at the Civic Centre. Game time is 7 p.m.
Fernie hosts Castlegar (6-7-1-0) at the Fernie Memorial Arena – game time 7:30 p.m.
