Officers track down break and enter culprit
On Wednesday, January 5 at 1:30 a.m., Columbia Valley RCMP received a report of a break and enter in progress at a gas station in Radium Hot Springs.
Officers immediately attended the business and located a set of footprints in the snow leading away from the scene.
Officers followed the footprints to a residence in Radium Hot Springs where an adult male was arrested for break and enter, theft and mischief. Evidence of the offence was also recovered at the residence.
The male was released on conditions to attend court on a later date, reported Columbia Valley RCMP Detachment commander Sgt. Darren Kakuno.
