43rd annual Firefighters’ Fishing Clinic returning
Idlewild Park and Lake will host the return of the Cranbrook Professional Firefighters’ Fishing Clinic.
The 43rd annual event is Sunday, June 19 (Father’s Day) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to all children under the age 15.
There is no cost or pre-registration required.
A chartered fishing trip is the prize for the biggest fish caught. There will also be more prizes.
All fish must be caught in Idlewild Lake and provincial fishing regulations apply.
There will also be burgers, hot dogs and refreshments, served free of charge.
