Cranbrook RCMP responded to 162 calls for service over the past week.

Of the 162 calls, 11 were mental health/check well-being calls, 11 were false alarms and there were 11 suspicious person files.

RCMP also responded to 27 traffic related files, seven disturbance calls and seven incidents of mischief.

Break-in to business

There was a break-in to a business in the 4500-block of Mennie Road over the past week. The Police Dog Section was called out but was unable to locate the suspect. Information has come forward from the public which has led to a possible suspect.  The investigation is still ongoing. File 2023-1440 refers.
