Sheepdogs performing in Cranbrook January 27

Four time Juno Award winners, The Sheepdogs, are coming to Cranbrook’s Key City Theatre on January 27 with their Backroad Boogie Tour.

Their last show here well before the pandemic sold out very quickly so you are advised to get your tickets for this event early.

Following their current sold-out slate of shows in Europe, including stops in Germany, Paris, the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Austria and Switzerland, the Sheepdogs are bringing rock and roll back home with dates that will take the band to Alberta, Saskatchewan, B.C. and others in early  2024.

The Sheepdogs are built on the solid classic rock foundation of three-part harmonies and dual guitar leads. The Sheepdogs blend Southern rock, groove-based psychedelia, and bluesy barroom swagger into a modern rock and roll revival.

Emerging in 2004, the band found mainstream success in 2010 with the release of the platinum-selling third LP, Learn and Burn, and continued to top the Canadian charts with efforts like The Sheepdogs (2012) Future Nostalgia (2015), Changing Colours (2018).

Hailing from Saskatoon, the Sheepdogs are one of Canada’s most successful bands amassing a legion of fans worldwide. The band has scored 10 Top 20 hits, with six of those being top 5s and three singles taking the number one spot on Canadian rock radio including, “Hole Where My Heart Should Be,” and their previous single “Rock and Roll Ain’t No Simple Thing,” spent over 20 weeks in the Top 10 at Canadian Rock radio.

Hit singles “I Don’t Know” and ‘Feeling Good” both reached Platinum status with “The Way It Is” achieving gold status. Most recently, their singles from Outa Sight spent a cumulative 90 weeks with at least one song in the Top 20 at Canadian Rock radio.

Don’t miss one of Canada’s hottest current rock bands live in concert at the Key City Ttheatre in Cranbrook January 27 at 7.30 p.m. Get your tickets at Keycitytheatre.com, by phone at 250-426-7006, or at the box office.
