Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Electoral Area F Director Susan Clovechok is looking forward to tonight’s Area F Town Hall and Volunteer of the Year Celebration.

The town hall/celebration begins at 7 p.m. at the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce and Lion’s Hall (near the crossroads).

The agenda includes: Volunteer of the Year Award; Director’s report; five-year financial plan overview; fire department update; Climate Action Plan update; CV Active Transportation Plan; emergency preparedness; Cold Spring Creek Debris Flow Mitigation; Short Term Rental regulations.

“There is lots on the agenda and I hope to see lots of Area F folks tonight,” Clovechok stated.
