You are invited to join in at the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Electoral Area E Town Hall Meeting and Volunteers of the Year Celebration at the Wasa Community Hall on November 14.

Things will start at 7 p.m. with the Volunteers of the Year presentation for Kathy McCauley and Mike Gall, followed by cake and refreshments.

The Town Hall Meeting will follow at 7:30 p.m. with presentation on topics, including:

• Mosquito Control Program Wrap Up;
• Short Term Rentals;
• FireSmart / Emergency Preparedness;
• Climate Action Plan;
• Lazy Lake Assessment Issue.
