Fernie Fire Rescue will be hosting the popular fundraiser and tree burning event on Saturday, January 6 starting at 5:30 p.m.

Bring your tree down to the Outdoor Rink to add to the bonfire!

Fernie Fire Rescue will also be picking trees up curbside January 6 in Maintown, the Annex, the Airport and Ridgemont starting at 8 a.m. (please don’t leave your tree on the curb before then.)

If they aren’t scheduled to hit your neighbourhood, or you want to get rid of your tree sooner, you can drop your tree off on the trailer outside the Temporary Fire Hall on Railway Avenue between January 2 and January 6.

There will be music, great raffle prizes, a BBQ, and beverages. All proceeds will go to local charities.
