The City of Kimberley Utilities Department will be conducting an emergency water main repair located at 585 Wallinger Ave, tomorrow, Tuesday, February 6.

Flaggers will be in place guiding single-lane alternating traffic and water will be shut off to many parts of the Upper Blarchmont area from approximately 10 a.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m.

If you are in the affected area, city staff suggests that you store water for use during this time. Once the water has been restored in your home/property, you may experience discoloured or turbid water and possibly air in your water lines.

If you experience any of these issues, open a cold water tap, and let it run until the water is clear. (A bathtub tap is recommended).
