An open house and information session is scheduled in Cranbrook August 28 at the Heritage Inn from 7 – 9 p.m. to help answer any questions about Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) and provide information on the disease and where things are currently.

The guest speaker will be Wildlife Health Biologist Cait Nelson (BC Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship). The presentation will cover a range of topics surrounding CWD, including information about the new regulations regarding transporting and best practices for submitting samples and handling your harvest.

Following the presentation there will be a Q&A session.
