Chamber hosting candidates’ forum Sept. 9
On Saturday, September 21, City of Kimberley residents will vote to elect a new Councillor for a two-year term (November 2024 to October 2026).
In advance of this election, the Kimberley Chamber of Commerce will be welcoming candidates to participate in an All-Candidates forum on September 9.
This event will provide an opportunity for residents and candidates to connect and share perspectives. An informal meet and greet will be followed by a moderated question and answer period in the theatre.
Where: Centre 64, Studio & Theatre;
When: 5 – 6 p.m.: Meet & Greet – Studio;
6 -8 p.m.: Moderated Quested & Answer Period – Theatre.
Entry is free but we ask that attendees register for tickets due to the theatre’s capacity limit of 100. Donations to Centre 64 are welcome at the door and will go towards supporting the cost of the event.
Fantails Mobile Espresso Bar will be setup outside of the Studio from 4 – 6 p.m. with refreshments (non-alcoholic).
