41st Seniors Dinner at Columbo Lodge Nov. 27
It’s almost time for the 41st annual Rotary/Columbo Seniors Dinner at the Columbo Lodge, on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 5 p.m.
This year’s music will be provided by Cranbrook’s own Tom Bungay. Rick’s Fine Meats & Sausage has again generously donated all of the fresh turkey (300 lbs.).
The Columbo Lodge has donated their beautiful hall for this amazing community event, started over 40 years ago by late Rotarian, restauranteur and citizen extraordinaire George Georgopoulos (pictured).
The meal will be prepared from scratch by volunteers, Rotarians and Columbo members (under the supervision of chef Jack Walkley) including rum punch, salad, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables and dessert.
Tickets are only $5 for seniors (55+) and are available at the Heritage Inn and at Rick’s Fine Meats and Sausage.
All ticket sales proceeds are donated to charity! Thanks also to Kootenay Kwik Print for donating the ticket printing costs. Only 436 tickets are available so get yours soon!
