Shred Kelly holiday concert Dec. 12

A free community concert by hometown favourites!

The Arts Station is proud to present a special Shred Kelly Holiday Concert as part of the 2012 What the Dickens Christmas lineup.

Shred Kelly’s latest full length album release ‘In the Hills’ (Sept. 2012) takes our favourite mountain string band and adds a cup of electric shock, belting out stories of small town love and tragedy in the places they hail from.

Having recently been awarded 2012 Artist of the Year at the Kootenay Music Awards and winning a spot on the Green Couch Sessions/CBC Radio 3 ‘Tracks on Tracks’ train adventure from Vancouver to Toronto, Shred Kelly is turning banjo doubters into sweaty indie folk rock believers on the dance floor, one town at a time.

Tickets are free but are limited to only 90. Tickets are only available at The Arts Station prior to event. Donations welcome and all proceeds are going to The Arts Station’s Youth Public Art Project.

For more info contact Courtney at 250-423-4842 or email [email protected].

The show is Wednesday, December 12 at The Arts Station, 601-1st Ave. Start time is 8 p.m.
