With the incoming rainfall and warmer temperatures this weekend, City of Cranbrook Public Works is keeping a close eye on our outdoor rinks at Baker, Pop Price and especially Idlewild.

All three rinks are in good condition right now, but that is expected to change. Our weekend crew will monitor ice conditions and place barricades and signage if they need to close them.

It’s been an exceptional winter for our outdoor rinks, and we are so happy to see how well used they’ve been this year.  Big thanks to our Public Works team for keeping them so well maintained for us!
