The City of Cranbrook this morning (June 4) reported a total of seven dead or dying trees considered to be dangerous are set to be removed starting at 8 a.m. along the trail which runs along the highway at Elizabeth Lake.

A bird assessment has been completed ensuring that these tree removals will not disturb any wildlife.

Trail access closest to the lake and access to the Visitor Information Centre will remain open.
