Call to artists for exhibit Unusual Angles

Art Gallery Kimberley is inviting artists from across the region and beyond to submit their artworks for its fourth annual open adjudicated art exhibit, taking place from February 5 to March 1, 2026.

With the theme “Unusual Angles,” this adjudicated show invites creators of all mediums to explore unique perspectives and fresh interpretations of the Kootenays.

This exhibit offers artists an opportunity to showcase their talent, grow their audience, and connect with art lovers near and far. Selected artworks will be featured both in-gallery and online, with top pieces showcased in the gallery Kimberley’s Platzl, for a month.

“‘Unusual Angles’ is all about seeing familiar landscapes, themes, and ideas from a different perspective,” said Irma de Visser, gallery owner and exhibit organizer. “With this annual exhibit we want to celebrate creative voices as well as our beautiful Kootenay region.”
