Autumn Market and Kids Carnival supporting CPPC

Get ready to kick off the holiday season with a day of fun, community, and purpose at the Shop with a Purpose Autumn Market and Kids Carnival, happening Saturday, October 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cranbrook Alliance Church.

This lively fall market is jam-packed with crafters, bakers, artists, and local businesses showcasing unique, handcrafted, and heartfelt gift ideas just in time for Christmas. Shoppers can enjoy live music, grab a delicious lunch, and catch up with friends and family while supporting a great cause.

Families won’t want to miss the Kids Carnival, complete with games, snacks, and a bouncy castle — the perfect place for kids to play while parents browse the market. And for those feeling lucky, the Silent Auction offers a chance to bid on a variety of exciting items donated by generous local businesses and artisans.

This year’s event is proudly hosted by Cranbrook’s own Carol Conroy of Impact Life Coaching, author of the faith-based study “Maybe You Are a People Pleaser Too?” — a 10-week journey designed to help readers break free from the stress and fatigue of people-pleasing and find the spiritual freedom and peace God intends for them.

“If you’ve ever felt the weight of people-pleasing holding you back, you’re not alone,” said Conroy. “Through this study, I walk alongside readers to uncover the hidden patterns that keep us stuck — and to discover God’s roadmap to freedom.”

All proceeds from the market will be donated to the Cranbrook Pregnancy Care Centre (CPCC) (cranbrookpregcentre.ca), a local non-profit organization preparing to open in 2026. The CPCC aims to provide a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space for women and men navigating unplanned pregnancies or pregnancy loss, offering resources, encouragement, and trustworthy information.

“Our vision is simple,” said a spokesperson for the CPCC team. “We believe no one should have to walk through these experiences alone. Every person deserves care, support, and hope.”
