Annual Toy Drive underway in Elk Valley
Each year, the Fernie Women’s Resource Centre hosts an annual Toy Drive to help support families in the Elk Valley.
Through generous donations from the community, we help ensure there is always something under the tree on Christmas morning.
With six weeks until Christmas, we are asking for donations from our community.
What can you donate?
• New, unopened and unwrapped gifts of $25 in value for kids aged 0-18;
• $25 gift cards, so that parents can pick out the perfect gift for their kids;
• Financial donations directly to our Toy Drive Fund through our website.
Where can you donate?
We have gift drop off boxes at Eldho’s Your Independent Grocer, Canadian Tire, and Polar Peek Books and Treasures.
You can also bring donations to the office directly, or donate online!
We couldn’t do all the great work we do without the support from our community. Help give back to your neighbors this holiday season.
